Our strategic efforts will look to modify behavior through positive connections, thoughtful conversation, and a shared love of our area. In partnership with Expect More Tehama, Kate and Co. collaborators have prioritized community engagement to foster a sense of unity for the greater good. The question to be posed is a big one - “What will empower Tehama County residents to make the mental shift to operating safely and consistently during this pandemic that will allow our kids to return to school and keep business thriving?”

Welcome to our eighth episode of Weekly with Wick. We’re talking with Kathy Garcia from the Job Training Center about all thing’s workplace related; safety, what employees should keep in mind while at work and what can businesses do to help alleviate worker fears and concerns. With Tehama County realizing lower unemployment rates compared to other parts of the state, The Job Training Center had more job postings in July and August than the same two months in 2019. But job seekers aren’t taking advantage of these opportunities. Today’s discussions aims to break through all the “noise” and contradicting information out there, and help folks take a first step back to feeling confident at work?
